The first step you must make on your journey is a DECISION to trust in Jesus and fully devote yourself to following Him.
When you do this, you can know God personally!
This is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST DECISION YOU WILL EVER MAKE!
Baptism is going public about your faith in Jesus and communicating to the world your heart-felt commitment to following Him. It’s the next step after meeting Jesus.
The word baptism simply means “immersion.” To be baptised is to be immersed in water very briefly. We’ve done them in the river, the sea and swimming pools (which is a lot warmer!)
Prayer is just talking to God. You can start right now! Whether you say it out loud or just in your mind, it doesn’t matter – HE HEARS YOU!
You can’t have a close relationship with someone who never talks to you. It’s impossible. God’s word—the Bible—is the primary way He speaks to us. And it’s the absolute best way to discover how to follow
Jesus on a daily basis. If you want to know more about God and His promises, reading the Bible is your next step.
